We do allow van's to be hired for one day over a weekend but if the hire is for Saturday it must be returned by 5PM.
Any customers hiring a van from us wishing to dispose of rubbish at either Lyne Lane Community Recycling Centre or Wilton Road Community Recycling Centre, need to first apply for a permit. This can be done by ringing 03456009009 or by filling in the form at www.surreycc.gov.uk/vanpermits

Insurance & Excess Mileage:
- £500 Insurance Excess.
- 100 miles per day free mileage allowance on daily and weekly hires - 20p per mile charged on any excess miles. 400 miles per week on 4 week and longer hires (including 12 week hires) and then 20p per miles charged on any excess miles.
Age Restrictions:
Drivers should be aged 25-75 to be able to be covered by our insurance. All drivers must have held a license for at least 2 years and driven regularly in that period.
Documents you will need to bring:
UK Driving Licence Holders:
- Your Driving Licence (if you only hold a paper type, we will need your passport too)
- One recent bill showing your name & address (Dated within the last 3 months)
- Your own physical credit or Debit Card (As required proof of identity)
- We will need to do an online licence check for you. For this, we need - Your National Insurance number & Driving License number emailing over to us or if you prefer you can obtain a Check Code from the DVLA and email it to us along with your driving license number. If you receive an error message you will need to call the DVLA on 0300 083 0013 (lines are open Monday to Friday 8am to 7pm & Saturday 8am to 2pm) and provide us with the code. Please note a code is only valid once and for 21 days. We do this in advance to avoid unnecessary delays and ensure you will be covered by our insurance. If we are unable to obtain a check code, the rental is not able to go ahead and a one day cancellation fee will apply.
